Wooly Bugger Spinner Flies are designed lures using a prime food of fish, a fly, with a short striking treble hook attached to the tail in conjunction with an attractor, a Colorado Spinner Blade used to catch freshwater game fish trout..... crappie..... and panfish. Larger blades are used to better advantage in the early season to give more flash to catch the fish's attention. Size #2 is the smaller, with #3 being larger.

Spinner replacements are important as to the type and condition of water that you are fishing. Spinner replacements are where you can change the amount of flash need to attract your fish. Remember that the more chear that your water is the less flash of the spinner needed.

Super Minnow - 2 1/2" Body - Floating - Weight 5/64 oz: Super Minnow is used from late spring thru the fall season. Super Minnow represents a minnow feeding along the top of the water line. Retrieve, with a start and stop motion, change to a slow or twitch motion for different presentations. Super minnow will swim to a depth of 3 to 5 feet with constant retrieve. These prime colors are for different water conditions. Represent the prime bait fish such as perch, shads, and minnows of various kinds.
Slow action allows the fish to attack it with a predator approach or killing action.

Spinner rigging ranks among the deadliest of trout and other game fish presentations. The thump, flash and color produced by a churning blade draws trout as well as other game fish in for the strike under a wide variety of fishing conditions, then the seductively wriggling live-bait trailer seals the deal. Can be fished in all types of cover. Also, natural baits can be added to the treble hook such as Worms, Meal Worms, Wax Worms, etc.

"Splash" spinner is used to attract fish that may be in certain water conditions that a regular blade would not be seen. The "Splash" spinner gives off a better reflection for those water condition. The spinner blade will spin at a slow retrieve also for those close places where you need to slow your retrieve to get closer either to the bottom or a structure.
