Water Flies The trolling flies for lake trout are tied on a size 3/0 hook with
a size 2/0 trailer hook which are used for the large Rainbows, Browns, and
Steelheads which are located in the Pacific Northwest and Great Lakes area.
These trolling flies for lake trout are trolled on planer boards and run true,
in an upright position. These colors have been used with great success for
large rainbows, brown or steelhead trout feeding on flies. The 2/0 trailer
hook can be removed and a treble hook added without disturbing the fly.

and presented to the fish as a moving food. The force the water exerts on the
fly as it is propelled through the water changes its look, streamlines it and
