Spoon-N-Fly



Spoon-N-Fly trout fishing metal lures are in 1/8 and 3/32 oz sizes with a size 8 treble hook attached. These spoon-n-fly lures give off the wobbling action which fish can’t resist. The treble hook can be removed and a spinner fly pattern added which give another lure with a different action that acts as an attractor for the fly. Any pattern of the spinner fly can be added to any color of the casting spoons. These lures are mainly used for trout and used greatly in Pennsylvania.

Each Spoon Has 20 Different Fly Combinations


Spoon-n-flies come in a wide variety of shapes, weights and sizes, but the best choices in the early part of the trout season are heavy and compact. Spoons-n-flies are best fished up and across the stream. Spoons-n-flies draw more strikes if they're reeled in fitful stops and starts.

In clear water, realistic hues draw the most strikes, but a spoon-n-flies with fluorescent green or orange will get more attention from fish in muddy currents. Don't overlook the classic red-and-white wobbler either, particularly on sunny days.

Spoons-n-flies are at their best in medium-speed currents where they can be retrieved slowly without causing them to whirl in unnatural manners.

Spoon-N-Fly not only for trout..... Went out to test one of the Spoon-N-Fly and found they work on channel cats and bass as well as trout. When testing caught a 34 inch Channel Cat.. took me about 30 minutes to land without a net, it made the reel sing and when it hit, it about took the pole.



Craig and I went turkey hunting this morning and trout fishing in the afternoon, we had a great day and I thought you would like to see. This made two afternoons in a row we limited out in less than 3 hours. We were using a yellow coachmen fly / nickel spoon and a black wooly fly/ nickel spoon.
